Leading regional airline first in UK to offer discounted upfront option to make changes to online bookings

In today’s busy world, even the best laid travel plans are subject to change at any time ......and so, in another UK aviation first, Flybe has today launched ‘Flybe Flex’, a discounted budget-friendly stand-alone product offered during the initial online booking process which gives those buying a basic Essentials ticket the added benefit to make unlimited changes to the date, time and route of their chosen flight any time prior to their departure date. By pre-purchasing Flybe Flex, a customer will save £58 on a return flight per person.

Pupils at a Belfast primary school were treated to a magical performance by a local children’s touring theatre company thanks to funding from the George Best Belfast City Airport Community Fund.

Cahoots NI arrived at Victoria Park Primary School to perform their newest show, ‘Lights, Camera, Math ‘a’ Magic’ to an audience of pupils, from two of the airport’s adopted schools, Victoria Park Primary School and Mitchell House School, eager to witness the extraordinary feats of mathematical mind reading and illusion.

The Belfast City Marathon starts at 9am on Monday 6th May. While the majority of roads will remain open throughout the event, disruption can be expected in the city centre from 06:30 until 12:00 noon.

Disruption can also be expected on the Albertbridge Rd, Holywood Rd and Sydenham Bypass until shortly after 11:00am.

Passengers travelling through Belfast City Airport on Monday are advised to leave additional time for their journey.
